JESUS IS EVERYTHING
Jesus Christ
is the reason why we are here, without Him there’ll be no Christianity, no
Bible and nothing else. Let us look at our lives; business, family, career,
everything. Jesus owns it all.
1. He is our
Salvation, Matthew 1:21, Acts 2:21, “And it shall come to pass that whosoever
shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
2. He forgives
and carries our sin, Isaiah 53:5, “He was wounded for our transgressions. He
was bruised for our iniquities.” 1 John 1:8-9, “If we say that we have no sin,
we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us; if we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.”
3. He is our
provision, Philippians 4:19
4. He is our
abundance, John 10:10
5. He is our
strength, Philippians 4:13
6. He is our
success, 1 Corinthians 15:10
7. He is our
peace, John 14:27
8. He is our
Joy, John 16:24
9. He is our
power, Matthew 28:18, 3:11
10. He is our
Freedom, John 8:36
11. He is our
security, John 6:37
12. He is our
blessings, Galatians 3:13-14, 2 Corinthians 8:9
13. He is our
entire life, John 1:4, “In Him was life, and the life was the light was the
light of men.” Acts 17:28, “For in Him we live, and move and have our being.”
Hence, we
should praise Him like David –
a.
Continuously – Psalm 34:1, “I
will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Vs.3 “…exalt His name”
b. While we
live – Psalm 146:1, 2, “Praise ye the Lord, Praise the Lord, O my soul, while I
live I will praise the Lord, I will sing praises unto my God while I have any
being.”
c.
Every day and forever – Psalm
145:1, 2, “I will extol thee, my God, O king, and I will bless thy name forever
and ever; Every day I will bless thee, and I will praise thy name forever and
ever.”
d. With dance
and instruments – Psalm 149:3, in sanctuary, Psalm 150:1
